The company raised $40 million through a combination of Series A-1 and Series A-2 venture funding in a deal led by Lowercarbon Capital on January 17, 2023. Siam Cement Group, MCJ Collective, Energy Impact Partners and The Engine.

The funds will be used to scale much as 40,000 tons a year by 2025, depending on its success in creating reactive silicon from nature and also working on scaling the process to make synthetic reactive silicon.
